Hello Autocad friend, do you spend a lot of time
working with hatches in AutoCAD?
For example, do you have to constantly fill areas of your work with a different hatch pattern?
well, you can manually pick your desire hatch settings such as pattern name, scale, and more.. or you
can use the new hatch make current command
that quickly changes the current hatch settings by selecting a hatch on the drawing.
This is a great alternative to specifying the hatch pattern name and properties in the hatch creation panel.
Hatch make current command is easy to use with its unique
shortcut HC in AutoCAD.
Hatch make current command is created by typing ACTRECORD and
pressing enter, typing in h enter,
m enter, selecting a hatch and enter,
ACTSTOP enter, type hc and click ok. Finally, right-click and pause for user input.
Notice what happens when I type hc and press enter?
It starts hatch make current command to hatch easily!
And this is how you save time working with hatches in AutoCAD.
