How to select objects in Autocad (quicker)

About 10 years ago, i’m seating in an architecture office, it was my 1st week working in the profession, and I am editing some complex Autocad drawings, I am using the selection techniques learned from school. Select individual objects by clicking them. Window selection, dragging from left to right to select all objects that are entirely enclosed in the selection rectangle. Crossing selection, dragging from right to left to select all objects that are crossed by the selection rectangle. It was not fun! i suffered because I needed more advanced selections tools and I only knew those 3 ways to select objects. At that time I remember pointing to youtube for help, sadly most of the videos I found were people teaching me how to select using simple objects like circles and lines.
Today I just remembered that moment and I don’t want you to suffer the same way I did. So here are the selection techniques I learned through years of working in a professional environment, in this case, an architecture office!.

Hope these selection techniques helped you understand some of the important concepts of Autocad, and please #StopWastingTime in AutoCAD!
